Abstract
NCEAS' Graduate Internships in Ecoinformatics are awarded to graduate students from the UCSB campus who show an interest in advancing their quantitative skills while working with ecological data and analyses. The interns will learn sound and advanced ecoinformatics techniques through specific training workshops, and intensive interactions with NCEAS' Scientific Programmers and executive staff. While building their skills in ecoinformatics techniques under the primary direction of Dr. Regetz, and in consultation with Drs. Hampton and Schildhauer, the interns will assist NCEAS' residents and working groups with a variety of data development and analytical programming tasks.
