Scientific Software
Analytical Software Packages Supported by NCEAS Scientific Computing
NCEAS encourages and strongly supports the use of open source software packages (e.g., the R Programming Environment, GRASS GIS, and PosgreSQL) that the scientific community widely contributes to, that are distributed under a General Protection License, and that publish source code and algorithms. NCEAS also recognizes that for some research, commercial proprietary software products are the best alternative and we support such packages.
Scientific Computing Services encourages contributions to this page.
