Campus Mail System
There are two 'outgoing mail' boxes in the front office: on-campus departments and off-campus mail. For large off-campus packages, use a blue and white UCSB address label and write our mailcode (004943) next to the return address.
Sending International Mail
Postal regulations require CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS on ALL international mail weighing 15 oz. or more (a postal scale is in the front office) next to outgoing mailboxes.
First Class International Mail and A/O (Air Other) Printed Matter Mail weighing 15 oz. to 4 lbs. require Customs form 2976. International Mail weighing over 4 lbs. requires Customs form 2976A, plastic envelope 2976E and Parcel Post shipping (forms are located in the front office).
Please complete necessary forms BEFORE mailing your letter or package; Mail Services will return items without the correct form, causing a delay.
