George John Romanes (1848-1894)

British psychologist and evolutionary theorist. Romanes befriended Charles Darwin during the last decade of Darwin's life, working with him on studies of evolutionary psychology. Romanes endowed a famous lecture series that was inaugurated by Thomas Huxley.
