I am a plankton ecologist interested in the dynamics of
zooplankton populations and communities. I recently completed work which focused on
the benthic distribution of resting eggs of Gulf of Mexico copepods and how benthic-pelagic
coupling in seagrass-colonized coastal areas may influence local copepod populations.
I am currently participating in a project at NCEAS in which I use quantitative
approaches to help assess the strengths of interactions between zooplankton groups in
various marine ecosystems.
