Notes:
All of the work I will present here involved equations for steady-state. Bacteria are so small that steady state is reached very quickly, so this assumption is valid.
Furthermore, these bacteria are assumed to be spherical.
All solutions are analytical, and I rely heavily on Mathematica. I also highly recommend it for exploratory theoretical work.
