John Bell Hatcher

American vertebrate paleontologist. Hatcher's famous field collections included Triceratops skulls from Lance Creek, Wyoming; brontotheres from the Big Badlands, South Dakota; and Tertiary mammals from Patagonia. This material ended up in numerous institutions such as the Smithsonian, American Museum, and Field Museum.
