Viral Shah and I are responsible for the Circuitscape Project. Circuitscape uses circuit theory to predict connectivity in heterogeneous landscapes for conservation planning, landscape genetics, and a growing list of other research areas focusing on landscape connectivity.

Linkage Mapper

Darren Kavanagh and I maintain Linkage Mapper. Linkage Mapper automates least-cost corridor mapping among large numbers of core habitat areas.  We developed this software for the Washington Habitat Connectivity Working Group using funds provided by the Great Northern Landscape Conservation Cooperative.

Gnarly Landscape Utilities

Gnarly Landscape Utilities automates some of the gruntwork involved with connectivity modeling, like combining many land cover data from many sources to create a resistance surface.
