Developing and implementing a Western Wildfire Resilience Index (WWRI) for the North American West
Project Description
The Western Wildfire Resilience Index (WWRI) will be developed and applied at local (county, small watershed) scales to assess and monitor the health and resilience of socio-ecological systems that influence, and are affected by, wildfire in the U.S. and Canadian West. This project and its results will provide input for adaptive management in the North American West, as well as inform monitoring and evaluation for Moore’s Wildfire Resilience Initiative.
