National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis

We require working groups to report to us all of the publications and research products, such as datasets or software, they produce as a result of their NCEAS support. This includes working groups that are part of our larger initiatives, such as Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP) and Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network working groups.

We provide multiple reporting pathways to make reporting as easy as possible:

  1. Quarterly solicitations: We request notification of new or forthcoming publications and products from Principal Investigators through emails sent quarterly.
  2. (SNAPP only) Biannual reporting: We request notification of new products and impacts from SNAPP Principal Investigators twice yearly.
  3. Reimbursement forms: Included on the forms for reimbursements of working group meeting expenses is a request for reporting publications.
  4. Email us directly: A Principal Investigator or lead author may contact us directly when a paper is published or in the queue for publishing. Please email the appropriate person from below:

          a. For LTER synthesis working groups, email Marty Downs .

          b. For SNAPP working groups, email Geoff Willard.

          c. For all other working groups, email Courtney Scarborough.
