Dr. Li Kui is a data scientist at UC Santa Barbara, where she supports marine and environmental science research through data management, reproducible workflows, and applied AI methods. She has led and implemented research projects in Ventura County and serves as a data manager for several regional long-term ecological research groups. Dr. Kui also leads AI-related training and coordination efforts, including the UCSB AI for Research Special Interest Group, with a focus on helping researchers use emerging AI tools responsibly and effectively in scientific workflows.
